’ve been cursed with the need to be romantic. It’s embarrassing sometimes. I often think I have a really good idea … turns out I’m just cheesy. It’s a good thing my girlfriend isn’t lactose intolerant.
I have decided to suggest a few alternatives that might make dating in this ancient city of ours a bit more interesting. And easy on the wallet – these dates are cheap.
I suddenly feel like Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and feeling very disturbed by this. I’m a dude. I’m straight. I’m supposed to be thinking about football, beer and boobs. Which I do. But I also like a good trolley ride date. Like I said, I’m cursed.

While many movies claim to be the “Animal House” of our generation, “Superbad” is the one that most fits the bill.
“Superbad” is an idea that sprang from the fantastically demented minds of two 13-year-old guys, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The most disappointing part about the movie is it took until both were 27 years old for it to finally get made.
Rogen and Goldberg are portrayed in the movie by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera respectively. While Hill’s outlandish style and over the top comedy are great for the character of Seth, it’s Cera’s awkward blend of humor that makes you believe that he is an 18-year-old virgin named Evan.

You want to call the Pegasus Gallery about the artwork on its walls? You can’t. No phone.
You want to walk in and get the tattoo your drunk friends just convinced you would be awesome? You can’t. No walk-ins.
And that is exactly how owners Stevie Floyd and Kimberly Wells like it.
“We didn’t want a normal tattoo shop,” said 25-year-old Floyd, cleaning up after finding a stopping point on a customer’s arm. “We wanted a nice atmosphere, something quiet and intimate, so we could really give our clients good attention. We wanted something low-key.”
Mission accomplished.

What’s a hip-hop album without flashy jewelry, fancy cars, or stacks of money on the cover? More importantly, what kind of hip-hop album doesn’t even reveal its featured MC’s name? The answer to both of those questions is simple: an exceptionally good hip-hop album. Saga of the Simian Samurai, the 2007 collaboration between Bay Area producer TomC3 and acclaimed New York MC Prince Po, is that unusual rap CD that matches gritty, progressive beats with offbeat, razor-sharp lyrics. And even though Prince Po (half of the former Organized Konfusion) dabbles in the usual subjects of women, drugs, and ghetto life, he does so in a way that simply blows contemporary rappers out of the water.
