Manatee Café
Here’s a secret: Man cannot live on beer and hot dogs alone. We’ve tried. We’ve lost girlfriends and got our doctors mad at us, but we’ve tried.

GREAT OUTDOORS
Some of St. Augustine’s best surfing spots are deep in Anastasia State Park (back when you could drive on this stretch of beach, Middles and Blowhole were some of the most popular spots in Florida), and a bit of imagination will allow you to see where the best lineups still naturally occur.
Somewhere between the present-day Inlet and the State Park entrance is where the original Inlet used to flow (approximately due east from the Conch House on a map).
We’d go into more detail, but we’ve seen Point Break and know how crazy Bodie and the locals can get.

For those locals who remember when the Manatee Cafe was across from Davenport Park and the Carousel, it’s nice to know only the location changed. The best bargain for portion size and whole food variety in St. Aug. If you don’t like the texture of tofu, get the breakfast burrito with eggs and drizzle some Datil Six Mile Gold sauce on it. To get to cloud nine, order the Key Lime pie with a cup of coffee.
