January Edition - Weird Florida
By Drift on Jan 10, 2010 in Featured, Drift Magazine
At some point, “Florida” became an adjective. Use it, and certain images of the the charmingly tacky and wildly strange are instantly evoked. For our cover, we had our very own custom airbrush t-shirt made. What else so perfectly embodies the experience of a trashy spring break beach town (other than Girls Gone Wild ads)? We live in a very unique state, home to all sorts of weirdness and natural beauty. This month, Drift decided to celebrate that.
We went on a canoe trip, listed our favorite Florida phenomena (mostly jorts, which Travis is obsessed with), interviewed Drew Curtis from Fark.com, and even attempted to catch our own dinner.
