When watching The Bucket List, be sure to have a best friend on one side of you and a box of tissues on the other. You’ll be reaching out for both.
Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) runs a tight ship at the hospital he owns. Assigning two beds to a room with no exceptions is routine for him – even when he is laid up in his own hospital. The stingy billionaire is now trapped in his overcrowded hospital, sharing a room with Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman), a hard-working mechanic.
The two old men are soon informed that they have both been diagnosed with terminal cancer and have less than a year to live. With the forewarning of death, Carter and Edward decide to make a bucket list: a list of things to do before they kick the bucket.
Edward and Carter begin their journey by sky diving. They quickly jump into other adventures like driving race cars, getting tattoos and traveling to Hong Kong, the Taj Mahal, France and the pyramids in Egypt.
This story will warm your heart as Nicholson and Freeman take you along on their momentous journey to live life to the fullest, right up until the very last moment.
